These photos are from my engagement shoot several months back. My husband and I got engaged last summer and did our photos in September. I love all things America, and since my husband is in the military, the outfit choice seemed fitting. I love the vintage wash of the sweater too because it makes it less of a “Fourth of July only”outfit! We had a ton of fun with our shoot. It felt like a break from wedding planning where we got to get gushy and stare into each others eyes and kiss and laugh and be silly. For this outfit, we got to try some fun things and be a little more goofy (mostly because I wasn’t in a dress and heels!). We took the photos at this place near where we live called Oak Canyon Nature Center. It was so hot I was worried I would sweat off my makeup. Annnd there was no where to change so we just held up a blanket and hoped no one walked by!

^^^this is WAYYY harder than you would think. Dare you to grab your BF or BFF and try it 😉

 ^YUP. He’s a whole FOOT taller than I am.
