Last week, I FINALLY got to meet my blogger BFF, Alena! We literally had the best time ever! All fears of what if we don’t click in person went out the window literally as we drove home from the airport! After talking on the phone, texting and FaceTiming over the last six months, it was SO good to finally see each other in person. The three days we had together flew by! We shopped, went to L.A., went to the beach and the Packing District, drank coffee, ate ice cream, and took pictures, of course. Alena is seriously so awesome, and we just clicked so great. We both picked out these tops at a little fashion store we stopped in at. They are honestly a little funky. Like I had to throw the front flap over my shoulder to put my shoes on. 😛 But I think the look is growing on me. I love that about fashion! I’ll swear against some pieces for a long time, and then all of the sudden I’m obsessed with them. Also, these shoes. Oh. My. LOVE. We found this shoe vendor in the Fashion District in L.A., and I was so happy I found these shoes. But now my eyes have also been opened to their online store. So much goodness.

This week I’m just drinking lots of coffee and working. But this weekend I get to go down to San Diego with my hubby for his Marine Reserve weekend because it’s the Marine Corps Ball!!! I’m so excited. My dress should be here any day. (Eeek hope it fits. I seriously spaced and kept thinking the ball was next weekend so I ordered it way late.) I’ll probably do a post in it so be on the lookout for that!
