^^^Sometimes I just be silly and really go for it and strut my stuff and then just crack up after at the photos because I just can never talk this thing too seriously

Happy Thursday, girls! And here we are, back to some good old fashion! Real talk, if I take a break from fashion for a few posts, I might kinda freak out a little bit and hope that you don’t think I’m not gonna be a blogger with a fashion emphasis anymore. 😛 A little silly right? I mean we gotta be cute working out too! Plus, you get to see different sides of me and what I’m up to when I’m not dressed up! Anyways, I’m happy to have another fashion post for you, and I’m super excited about this one because guess what? I made this dress out of two kimonos! The first week of Dressember (I am wearing a dress every day in December, if you didn’t know! Read more about it here.), I was honestly wondering why in the heck I decided to do this. Like for real. I knew I couldn’t give up though, so I started trying to think of more ways I could be creative so I wasn’t bored with getting dressed! And all of the sudden I had this great idea to layer this lace kimono with this fun sleeveless printed one. And I love how it turned out. I wore a slip underneath just in case something weird happened. Didn’t want no cheeks popping out.:P Then I secured it with this awesome vintage belt my Gram gave me, and I also used about three safety pins in various spots to hold it all in place. Super simple and such a fun look! I linked some kimonos you could try it with but I bet you already have something in your closet you could use. Get creative with your layers, and try putting things together you wouldn’t normally put together.

Eeeek! Can you believe Christmas is next week?! That is I-N-S-A-N-E. Seriously where in the heck did time go? Like I forgot to pay a bill because how in the heck was it already the middle of December. (Shhh. I know you’ve done it too!) I know my last post I said I hadn’t started Christmas shopping, and I’m proud to say I now have! I still have some small things to get, but I feel very accomplished to being on my way. I’m usually the crazy-out-on-Christmas-Eve-finishing-things-up type. Ha, who am I kidding? I probably still will be. It’s fun to me. And that’s how I work best, under pressure. 😛

I hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season and get to take the time to appreciate your friends and family and remember why we are celebrating this Christmas season. I’m so thankful for all of you who take the time to visit my little corner of the internet and share in this piece of who I am. Love you all!

xo,

Christine
