Story time. So on Tuesday, I worked really late at the salon. Like til 10pm. (I mean when a girl needs her hair done, she needs her hair done right?) It was my first day back after my vacation so maybe I was a little out of it. I was the last one out of the salon so it was my responsibility to make sure all the lights were off, the air was off, the alarm set and the doors locked. Usually I run through a mental checklist of everything I need to do before I leave, but for some reason I just didn’t this time. Maybe I think I’m above that after all this time. #theanswerisnoChristineyouarenot. I came home, took some time winding down, made a protein shake with homemade granola and finally fell asleep around midnight. Fast forward to 4 in the am, and I woke up with a start and all of the sudden realized I didn’t turn the air off. I. Felt. So. Bad. One of the most important things we’re supposed to do is turn the air off, and it costs so much to leave it on all night and makes the salon freezing in the morning. Sooo, I did what any upstanding citizen would do, I threw on my sweater, went out to my car and drove to the salon to turn it off. Now ya’ll might think I’m cray but I knew I would lay in bed worrying about it longer than it would take me to go there and back and turn it off. (I live less than five minutes away.) And I reallllly wanted to keep sleeping in peace so I knew it had to be done. ๐Ÿ˜› I even sent my hubby a selfie of me in the car at 4am (he was working a 24-hour shift). I was mostly worried someone would see me going in and worry I was a robber. ๐Ÿ˜› Thankfully no one did, and in less than ten minutes I was back home and in bed. So that was my exciting hump day morning. How was yours?

Now that we are done with that little story that has nothing to do with my outfit post, shall we talk about that? There’s not much to say other than men’s button ups > women’s button ups, if you don’t own distressed jeans, #DIY, these shoes are the BOMB dot com, and if you want a tutorial of this hairstyle, LMK. Also, it was FREAKING gorgeous out when we took these photos as you can tell. This little “river bed” is a few minutes from my house, and I don’t know why we don’t go down there more often. Even though it’s near major streets, it’s so peaceful and gorgeous. Also, hope you enjoyed the cute shopping cart in some of the photos. Thought about moving it but #aintnobodygottimefordat. ๐Ÿ˜›

Happy Thursday. Love you all!

Oh, ps, I added a tab to my blog where I will be putting photos of my coloring, styling, etc I do in the salon and for weddings and events, so if you want to see that, you can go here.ย Besos.
