Hi girls! I have something a little different for you today! A makeup review on Glo Minerals. I have heard of Glo Minerals for years so I was so excited to partner with them for this review! And the jury is in, and I LOVE their products!

Ever since my teen years, my skin has been prone to some acne on the reg. Not bad acne just enough to make you a little self concious when you’re going sans makeup! I have never been one to invest much money into what I put on my face, and I officially have decided that is the worst thing ever. I mean it’s my FACE, for crying out loud! I was probably most excited to test out the Glo Minerals foundation, and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! Literally in just a week of using it, I have actually noticed a difference in my skin when I’m NOT wearing makeup. Which is the best result ever. I also know some people cringe when they hear “minerals” in a makeup company’s name because you think it must not do much if it’s minerals! Welllll, the Glo Minerals Luxe Foundation (in color Naturelle) is AMAZING. It’s the PERFECT amount of coverage. Not too much, not too little. It’s super moisturizing, and if you put on one coat, and you want a little more, you can add a whole other layer, and it actually looks like you did! Along with the foundation, you can use the Luxe Foundation Brush and OMG, it’s THE best thing I’ve ever put on my face. So soft and picks up the perfect amount of product and glides smoothly over your face, leaving you with the best finish on your foundation!

To set the foundation, I used the Glo Minerals Pressed Base (in color Golden Medium) with the Ultra Brush. I always like to follow up my foundation with a little bit of powder to finish blending it out, and the I love the feel and look of the Pressed Base. IF you do like a more natural look, you could also just use the Pressed Base on it’s own! I definitely have been carrying it around in my purse for touch ups throughout the day too!

I also got the Eyeshadow Trio in Coffee. I don’t tend to wear a lot of eye shadow, and if I do put on a little extra, it’s always neutral colors, so this eye shadow is the perfect color palette for me! It comes with three shades, a light shimmer, a matte cream, and a matte brown. I love to just swipe the shimmer over my whole lid for an everyday look! I’ve even been using the matte brown for my eyebrows and for lining my eyelids because it’s the perfect shade.

Even though I love a natural makeup look, lips are of the UTMOST importance. A good lipstick can take you from bland to bam in just two seconds. I got two lipsticks from Glo Minerals. A va va voom red called Vixen and a nude-ish color called Spark. Vixen speaks for itself! Every girl should definitely try out a red lip at some point in their life. It just amps up any look times ten and makes you feel like a million bucks! The color Spark is probably my favorite of the two. Mostly because it’s super different. I classified it as a nude because it seemed the best fit but it’s different than any nude I’ve used before. It’s got the perfect tint that makes your lips almost look natural but still pop. I LOVE it. And can’t stop wearing it. I’ve even gotten on few compliments on it when I’ve been out. (P.s. Refer to the photo above for more of what the color actually looks like. The video gave it a more pink tinge than it has!)

Lastly, but certainly not least, I tested out the Revive Hydration Mist (I legit just typed this, and was like ooooh that sounds nice right now and went and sprayed it on my face). It is a mist that hydrates and soothes the skin. It can be used to set your makeup when you’re done applying OR just to hydrate your face at any time (like I just did). It has such a soothing scent, must be the chammomile, and makes your face feel amazing. I even made Ben test it out, and even though he freaked out before (because ummmm that’s girly 😛 ), he LOVED it so much. And wanted more.

Sooooo all of that to say, I LOVE Glo Minerals! And I know you will too! And since I know you will love it, I’ve teamed up with Glo Minerals to give you a discount! Using the code MOXIEFASHION15, you can receive 15% off of your ENTIRE purchase! If you would like to find the nearest Glo Minerals retailer, you can call 1-800-232-0398.

Now enough of my babble, scroll down to see a YouTube video review of Glo Minerals in action. (Har har, who I am kidding? I’m probably babbling in the video too.) 😛

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Please comment below to let me know, and also let me know if you would like to see more like it!
