Crop: Brandy Melville, similar here and here; Skirt: Forever 21 here, also love this and this; Shoes: Love D, similar here; Kimono: Marshall’s, similar here; Hat: Target here

This outfit felt sort of whimsical. And it’s just the kind of outfit that I love. Plus it’s PERFECT for the upcoming festival season. I just love maxi skirts! So light and airy and perfect for a California spring. I linked a few others that I love above so don’t forget to check them out! P.S. You need this hat. I first got a camel colored one at Target a few years back and always wished I had gotten the black one too! And then they restocked it again this year! SO do yourself a favor, and get both! They are definitely some of the most used items in my closet. I actually have my hubby to thank for the addition of the lace kimono. I was planning to do all the photos without it, and he suggested I add the kimono too. I love that I can always count on him to help me out with my outfits when I don’t have time to text my girlfriends for advice. 😛

WE HAD THE BEST WEEKEND. I’m so happy. We went up to the mountains for one of my best friend’s 30th birthday, and it was so nice to just get away and spend time with friends and laugh and play games. Plus time with my hubby is rare so my love tank is full. My hubby even has today off too. Which is a freaking miracle. This morning we will be going to help do some painting with his guys from the academy, and then probably just errands and maybe think of something fun to do this afternoon. I’m just excited we get an extra day!

Hope you all have the best Monday!
