Your eyes ain’t fooling you! I got my pink hair back! It’s kinda crazy how fast it fades out. But I’m also glad because at the end of the day deep down, I’m a blondie and want to be back to that. So it’s nice knowing I can have fun hair for a few weeks and then it just fades out back to my blonde! (If you missed my post on my pink hair and want to know more, go here.) I kind of still can’t believe I did it! But it’s been so fun. And it should be back to it’s blonde self just in time for our trip to Cancun. 😛
So you all already know if you read yesterday’s post that I kind of love SheInside. I literally could spend hours just browsing their site! And you know I love dresses too! So today’s post is about both of those because this is one of the items I have purchased from SheInside. You won’t believe how much this was when I bought it. Twelve. Dollars. Yes, I said twelve. I couldn’t believe it. (It’s $18 now. Still a killer deal.) And I can’t believe how nice of quality it is! Seriously if you haven’t already, do yourself and your wallet a favor and check out their website.
If you have followed me for any length of time, you know that there’s a few bloggers I talk about that I love. Like Amber Fillerup of Barefoot Blonde. And then there’s a handful of others whose blogs I visit on a regular basis. One I haven’t ever mentioned before though is Katey McFarlan of Chronicles of Frivolity. And I decided that today I wanted to share her blog because she inspires me probably more than any blogger I know. She’s a cute Dallas girl who’s amazing at writing, and I always know I’ll laugh when I visit her blog on the daily. But what she really inspires me with is her faith. If I accomplish anything at all with this blog, I want to be just like her and be a friend to girls, draw them out of their insecurities and towards Jesus. And when something besides fashion is on my heart, to share it. Yesterday Katey did a post that I want to invite you to be a part of as well. She is starting an online Bible study group with all of her followers, and I think it’s the most amazing idea ever. Most days I struggle with staying prioritized and reading my Bible before I pick up my phone or the computer. I want constant information coming in but I can’t take a minute some days to just sit and take a time out and spend time with Jesus. So I think it will help me tremendously to know that one of my blogs I always visit will be encouraging me towards doing my devotions! If you want to join me, you can read her amazing post about it here and get the book for the study. I’m really excited about it. And maybe one day, I’ll do my own with all of you!
Thank you all for coming by my little corner of the internet. It means more to me than you know! Don’t forget you can stay up to date on all my posts by clicking on the menu on the right side of my blog and putting in your email address! And don’t forget to follow me on Instagram here!
