Happy Friday! Last weekend when Ben and I were in San Diego we snapped these photos while we were out walking around downtown. There were SO many places to take pictures. I’m always having to search high and low by my house for places to do them, or I have to drive a ways to find cool spots. So being down there had me dreaming of living in a downtown where you can just walk out your door, and there’s a million spots to take photos. Seriously would be amazing!

I LOVE this outfit. I’m all about a simple look with classic staples. But I love that this top from Cheerful Chic has a unique shape and hemline to keep the outfit interesting. And I have tons of plaid tops but no check ones so this was the perfect addition to my collection. I have already worn it like three times! P.S. If you saw on Snapchat (mox_ie), I originally planned to wear a top knot with this look. Buuuuut after spending no joke fifteen minutes trying to get it right, I opted for a ponytail. Seriously why is it that when you TRY to do a top knot, it doesn’t work. And the best part is that I had thrown it up into a messy bun getting ready and probably never should have taken it out in the first place. Always the best when you don’t even try. 😛

Hope you all had the best week! I worked until 10pm last night! And back again this morning! Ben’s working a 48 hour shift so I’m just keeping myself busy! And it works out perfectly for the nights I have clients that need to come later since he’s not home anyways!
