Happy Wednesday! How amazing is this denim jacket?! I love a basic denim jacket, but this one from Ami Clubwear is just so fun with the fur! I’m not a full on fur kind of girl (don’t hold me to that though, I’m known for eventually getting on board with those trends I was once unsure of), so this is perfect for me! I wanted to keep the outfit simple, and let the jacket speak for itself but I had to add these amazing leopard booties from Charlotte Russe! But leopard is totally a neutral right?! Don’t forget that every Tuesday, Charlotte Russe has AMAZING deals on shoes. (Aka yesterday, these were $17.50). So if you have your eye on a pair or two, check back next Tuesday to see what the deal is!

If you’ve ever wanted a pair of designer sunnies but weren’t quite ready to splurge, there’s this super cool website called Ditto where you can test out all different styles for just $24 per month! But you can get your first month for free with the code MOXIE. That means you can try a pair of designer sunnies for free! And whenever you’re bored and ready to try a new pair, you just send them back, and pick out the next pair you wanna try! I have the Karen Walker Super Duper Thistle, and I’m OBSESSED. Like it might be time to send them back soon to try another pair, but I’m also not sure if Karen and I are ready to part ways (Yes, we’re on first name basis). So maybe I’ll just keep it in the family and try these. That way no one’s feelings get hurt. 😛 (#mostlymine)

Ok, so time for a little rant about Starbucks seeing as the red cup made its way into my post. Because #coffee. Have you all heard about all the controversy over the absence of a Christmas design on the cup?! It’s kind of crazy. (If you haven’t. You can read about it here. But basically people are saying that Starbucks wanted to remove Christmas from their cups.) After reading about it, I was paying more attention to the store atmosphere when Ben and I stopped in at Starbucks yesterday before shooting. You guys. Everything in the store screams Christmas. There was Christmas music playing, a sign that said “Merry ‘Christmas Blend’ To You All”, and the new re-usable cup design for the Christmas season says “JOY”.(If that ain’t what me and Jesus are all about, I don’t know what is! 😛 ) I have no idea if Starbucks is for or against Christians. But what I do know is this. Causing a scene over a cup is not WWJD (Yes, I wore a What Would Jesus Do bracelet in Junior High. How bout you? 😛 ) Like can we please talk about and do more important things?! Blasting social media with rants about how Starbucks took Jesus out of Christmas isn’t going to show people God’s love. But maybe buying the guy’s coffee behind you in line would. This Christmas season should be about more than whether or not our Starbucks cup is graced with a reindeer or a snowflake (which by the way isn’t even what Christmas is about anyways!). Let’s worry more about loving our family, our friends, the strangers we come in contact with everyday, and maybe even our enemies. OH and dare I say, I kinda like the two toned simplicity of this year’s cup. 😛

That’s all for now. If you made it through that, love you. If you didn’t, love you still. (Buut you won’t know that. 😛 )

Have the best week!

xoxo,

Christine
