Happy Friday! Hope you all had the best week! I’ve been pulling out my flare jeans and bell bottoms more and more lately so if you haven’t bought a pair or have some hiding in your closet, now’s the time to pull them out! I usually always pair them with heels but they can be so slimming! Next on my list is a pair of high-waisted denim ones! P.S. If you need some good platform heels, these ones I’m wearing are AMAZING. And for me to say that is a big deal because I tend to lean towards wearing flats. Or if I do wear heels, they’re low or for car to restaurant type situations. 😛 These are way higher than most heels I wear, and still comfortable enough for me to keep them on for a while! Now on to the star of this outfit, my graphic tee. I love.

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love casts out fear.” 1 John 4:18. How perfect is this verse and this tee for this world we live in. I live about an hour from the place where the San Bernardino shootings happened last week, and that night when I went home, I couldn’t help but feel a little scared. What is the world we live in that even going to your work holiday parties isn’t safe? I noticed myself throughout the week thinking things I wouldn’t normally think and being hyper aware of my surroundings (which maybe isn’t so bad. Hubby says he always checks for all exits every place we go 😛 ). It’s so easy to get caught in the trap of fear. You start thinking about what if this or that happened, and it spirals down, and in the end you’re just left scared, and it can affect the way you live your life. But there’s a way out. God’s perfect love. I know real things happen in our world, but most of the time when I get scared, it’s from scenarios I make up in my head and not based on anything that is actually happening. In those moments if I just stop my crazy thoughts and pray, I’m always amazed at how quickly peace comes. I don’t want to live my life in fear, even when scary things do happen. Because God’s love is bigger than that fear, and if I just put my trust in Him, He can replace that fear with peace and love. And that’s a way better way to live.

I hope you have the best weekend! I’m off to work today and tomorrow. It’s pretty much craziness until Christmas because everyone wants their hair done! If you follow along on Snapchat (mox_ie) maybe I’ll post a few of my fave color clients that I do!

Thanks as always for coming by!

xoxo,

Christine
