Dress: Chicwish c/o here; Tights: Nordstrom Rack, same here; Purse: Diophy Handbags c/o here: Shoes: Charlotte Russe, similar here

You guys. I don’t know what the deal is. But I guess when I like a color scheme, I like a color scheme. Ever since Pantone announced the colors of the year, rose quartz and serenity, I’ve been finding myself wearing different shades of lighter blues and pinks! (Read all about the colors of the year here). I don’t know if I buy into all that. Like who tells them they can decide what the color of the year is, and how are they right?! Is it some sort of psychological and trend study? But nevertheless, I keep wearing pinks and blues so they must have known something!

This dress from Chicwish caught my eye because it was something a little different than what I would normally wear! The body is super warm material so if you live somewhere cold, it would be the perfect dress to style how I did here! And if not, just lose the tights! I took these photos while I was in Colorado with Alena, and funny story, we both got this dress! So go follow her blog so you can see how she ends up styling it!

P.S. This purse from Diophy Handbags is the best size little crossbody for when you just need to bring a few things! I just stashed my lip gloss, phone and my cards in it, and it fit perfectly. I am kind of excited to take it out for a night of dancing sometime soon because I always end up bringing the wrong kind of purse but this one will be perfect! Because hands free is the only way to be if you’re like me and need both hands to fully get your groove on on the dance floor. 😛

Hope you all have the best week!
