HUG

A tee with a cactus on it that says, “Hug”?! Ummmm yes please. I about died at how cute of a tee this was and ordered one for myself and then ordered one for one of my bffs too. (You know cuz twinning at work is the coolest thing ever. 😛 ) Unfortunately it’s almost all sold out but you can probably still snag it in stores!

With summer in full effect over here in Souther California (it’s been mid-90s all week!), I’m definitely turning to summer pieces. Sometimes I feel like it’s a little harder to put together outfits with less layers because it can feel rather simple. But taking a few basics and adding a piece like this red hat can be just what your outfit needs to make it pop. I mean besides the cute cactus that’s sending us mixed messages by asking for a hug while he’s covered in spikes. (Sounds like your ex, doesn’t it? 😛 ) <—Bahaha, sometimes I just really crack myself up. I’m like yup, my hubby’s probably going to text me tomorrow when he reads this and tell me I’m funny. At least I’ve got one fan I can count on. 😛

P.S. These shorts from Charlotte Russe are the perfect high-waisted summer shorts! I got them in two colors. I love the stretch and the fact that my booty doesn’t fall out the bottom. (They’re called cheeky but I promise they’re really not!) I told my friends at work about them, and three of them went out and bought several pairs!

It’s FRIDAY! Yipee. I cannot tell you how excited I am for the weekend! Every weekend since Ben started the fire academy I have had events planned that I couldn’t miss (and didn’t want to!) but that meant we didn’t get our whole weekend together. And time is rare right now so I cannot wait to get off work on Saturday afternoon and soak up every moment of our 36 hours together! He might be sneaking home tonight too and even if all we do is sleep in the same bed, I’ll be a happy girl!
