So gonna keep it real here. Did you just scroll through those photos and think ehhhh, those rips are just a little bit much. Well guess what? I did too. And I almost didn’t even post this look because of it. I seriously do not know what happened. I was so excited when I got these jeans. They are the softest ever and had the perfect distressing marks on them. But then I guess they decided to distress themselves some more while I was wearing them. I actually didn’t even realize how much more they had ripped or what they looked like until I saw them in the pictures! I’m actually a little sad because they were so perfect before! After this shoot, they are probably just going to be beach jeans because the rips are just a tiny bit too high on the thigh for my liking. But I just had to post the shoot because one, it’s real life. And two, I love everything else about it so I just couldn’t waste it! My only suggestion to you would be just to not get these jeans. ๐Ÿ˜› Has that ever happened to any of you?! (Scroll to the bottom to see what they used to look like ๐Ÿ˜› )

This top though is the perfect summer top, and I love how it went with this cute little blue background. This is actually an old house that was turned into a cake shop, and it’s so cute! Looks like a place that should be by the beach. Oh, and I borrowed these sunnies from my friend/photographer, and now I want some for myself! They are such a fun shape and the blue reflective is perfect for summer!

This weekend went by way too fast. Just as soon as Ben got home, it seemed like the weekend was over. Saying goodbye on Sundays when he heads back to training is never easy but this weekend was harder. I just miss being able to talk all the time when we need each other and just be able to share life together. But on the bright side, we’re one month in! And I always wake up the next day and know it’s gonna be ok, and knowing that Ben is getting to pursue his dream makes it all worth it.

I have a short work week ahead and my blogger bff Alena comes into town this weekend, and then we have a fun getaway planned so I can’t wait!

Happy Monday!

xoxo,

Christine

See how cute they were!
