FIESTA DRESS

Guys, meet my fiesta dress. She’s always down for a good time and makes you feel like you belong in Mexico. So obvioulsy that’s where she made her debut. It seemed only fitting to wear this dress in Mexico. You know so I could get my party on in it. After a fab dinner and a show, we danced the night away on the rooftop. And then it rained and became even a little more magical. Even if we were only two of seven people on the dance floor. And the ONLY white people. But I mean it would have been a shame to not take my fiesta dress out for a little spin, right?!

The off-the-shoulder trend that has been all over this season is one of my faves! I love the femininity of it. Give me all the off-the-shoulder tops, dresses, and rompers! If you are a little broad shouldered or more muscular like I am, you may need to size up in this dress. It’s a little snug around the shoulder area, and I think I may do some tailoring on it so next time I wear it, it’s fine!

P.S. When I first got these shoes, I wasn’t quite sure about them but I have been wearing them SO much. They are so comfortable, and when I don’t feel like making too much of a statement, I just tie them a little lower on the leg like I did here in theses photos. That tends to be how I wear them most days. There are only a few sizes left, so snag them before they’re gone!

I’m so sad to see the weekend go! Ben and I had a rare Saturday AND Sunday off together (I usually work Saturdays), and it was so nice to spend time together and have fun and forget about the stresses of the fire academy and work. (On the bright side, we only have five weeks left of the academy!!! ) We had dinner at what might be my new fave Mexican restaurant. If you live in the area, you need to go to South of Nick’s in San Clemente!
