I am all about DIY. Until it turns into DI(N)Y. You know “Do It Next Year”. We can have the best intentions when it comes to projects but sometimes it might take too much time, you need another person’s expertise to do it or it just simply gets forgotten about. A little over a year ago, I had showed Ben a photo of a clothes rack I wanted him to help me make, and we got the piping we needed but just with everything that’s been going on over the last year, we never really had extra time.

Then, lo and behold. Target DID IT AGAIN. (Really though, are they ever not doing it? Because my wallet seems to tell me they are doing it again and again every dang time I go in there. 😛 ) I was scrolling through Instagram and saw this on the @targetdoesitagain Instagram, showed Ben and within five minutes he had ordered it for me. It came within a few days, and Ben was able to put it together for me over the weekend. As much as I love DIY, in this case, this just worked better for us. And the price is honestly too good to pass up!

I love having a place where I can put the clothes, shoes, and purses, etc that I am currently wearing in heavy rotation! It makes it a little easier to get ready in the morning. I actually get a little overwhelmed when I look in my closet sometimes, so this is a much nicer way to keep the things I really love in one place. (My closet is in need of a major makeover. But it is not something I’m looking forward to so I keep putting it off. Any super organizers want to come help?! I can almost guarantee you would get some free clothes out of it. :P)

Also, I did not strategically place any of these clothing items on the rack or plan out a color scheme. This just seems to be the color palette that I am actually wearing! I’ve linked some of the pieces that are hanging below along with the rack!

This is currently  my fave little spot in my room, and I’m in the process of finishing up the rest of my room little by little so I feel excited about the whole room. But I am at least excited to have a little space that I can look at and go ahhhh yessssss over. (I snagged this dress form at Home Goods, but I’ve linked a few below, and I’ve also seen them at thrift stores before!)

Happy Tuesday!

xoxo,

Christine

I absolutely love that! And I can totally relate about spending all your money at Target 🙂
