Suit: Kini Swimwear c/o here; Flamingo Floatie: Target here

Every summer, I buy a million new bathing suits. And wear them every chance I get. I love how the one piece has made a comeback in so many different styles and that two pieces now go way beyond your basic triangle top. One thing I never did though was design my own suit! Ummm so fun right! Kini Swimwear is all about making a suit that is uniquely you! I had been wanting one of these rash guard crop swim tops so I opted for that style so that it would be something different. You can choose literally every part of the suit. What color suit you want, the zipper, the clasp, everything! Or if that seems overwhelming you can always pick from pre-designed options.

I chose to do black and pink because ya’ll know I can’t get enough of the pink this season. And some people might not like the tan lines that come along with a suit like this but these days I lather up with sunscreen, and if I can finish the day not burned (because let’s be real, this white girl doesn’t tan), then it was a good day. So for me, sleeves are actually a plus! #byeeeskincancer I always love an open back on anything, dresses, tops, rompers, etc. So obviously, I love it on this suit too.  And yes, I live in California, and it’s warm but I also get cold easily, and our beach water is kinda cold so this suit is totally perfect for that too because you can actually feel that it’s a little insulated for warmth. Head on over to Kini Swimwear, and play around designing your own suit. They have so many fun options! And if you make one and get it, make sure to tag me on Instagram so I can see!

This last week was AMAZING. My brother was in town with his wife and four kids, and I was able to take the whole week off and soak up auntie time in all of it’s fullness. I seriously love those little kids so much. We all cried a little when they left. I already am looking at plane tickets to go out to Salt Lake City soon to see them. 😛

This week will be back to work which I’m excited about and then this weekend I am heading out to Denver for a few days to catch up with my blogger bestie, Alena, and hopefully see a few other friends. I’m just trying to take this #workhardplayhard thing to a new level, ya know? 😛 But mostly just really thankful that I get to make my own schedule at work so it’s easy to plan fun things!

Have the best week!

xoxo,

Christine
