RED GINGHAM OFF THE SHOULDER DRESS

Oh hello, pretty little red gingham off the shoulder dress. Pleased to meet you. Why’d you just now find you way into my closet? Now I can be the country girl I always dreamed of and prance around my farmhouse kitchen in you and rock on my wrap around porch til the sun sets. #dreaming (Sometimes, I really think I just should have been born in the south. But if I just make my hair a little bigger maybe I can keep pretending).

On an only slightly more serious note (because I don’t really think clothes should ever be that serious), I am I love with this dress! I feel like it’s so me! It also comes with a little waist tie in the same print that you can add if you want it to be cinched at the waist. If I added some cowboy boots to this look, I’d be set for my Brantley Gilbert concert this weekend. Now if only I can see about getting my hands on that farmhouse.

Phew this week with Alena was a blast! But I was supposed to come home Wednesday night and be back at work yesterday but Southwest Airlines had a complete system outage and cancelled tons of flights, mine being one of them. I’m pretty sure my tears and prayers were answered because I actually got rebooked really easily for the next morning. And judging by the looks of the crowd, it wasn’t that easy for many other people. Thankfully all my clients were great about rescheduling so that made it easy!

Now I’m home and looking forward to the weekend with Ben! I’ve barely seen him much the last few weekends but we have a fun weekend planned, the highlight of which is seeing Brantley Gilbert Saturday night! So excited. Oh, annnnnd this is kicking off a week long of festivities celebrating my 30th birthday! EEEEEEK!
