AIN’T NO FIESTA LIKE A CHIPS AND SALSA FIESTA

February 9, 2017

When I saw this tee I HAD to have it. I love a fun graphic tee. And even more so when it’s in Spanish. And if you know me, you know I love a good fiesta as well as a good siesta. All of my friends have always talked about how much I like to sleep. They used to make fun of me for how early I would go to sleep. 😛 Now, I think they realize that they want to sleep that much too. I’m just pretty serious about getting at least my eight hours, cha feel? I mean gotta maximize it while I can until I have kids and don’t sleep anymore. 😛

So what’s a fiesta without chips and salsa?! If you haven’t noticed from watching my Insta stories, we almost always go out for Mexican food when we go out to eat. I think my biggest weakness when it comes to healthy eating would have to be chips and salsa. They’re just so dang good. Ben recently found this salsa recipe when he was cooking for the guys at the fire station, and when he made it for me, I basically fell in love. With him all over again. And the salsa. 😛 Now, I’ve been making it and keeping it in the fridge because besides just for chips and salsa, I love topping a ton of my meals with salsa because it acts as a super low calorie sauce. It also is super easy to make and only takes a few minutes! If you live near an Albertson’s, their chips are the BOMB. It’s their own brand, and they taste like restaurant style chips. Which to me makes everything about the salsa even better!

I’m off to Utah tomorrow morning for a long weekend to see my family and do my sister-in-law’s hair. We are taking her from brown to blonde so make sure you’re follow along on my Insta Story to see the process.

xoxo,

Christine
