RED DRESS, GOOD DEALS, AND THOUGHTS ON V DAY

The real question is, do you guys get sick of me always raving about good deals? Because I don’t know why but my first inclination is always to tell you how much of a good deal something is. Even if you were to tell me in person that you liked something I was wearing, if it was a killer deal, I would probably respond with Thank you and then follow up with how much it cost. 😛 Does that go against some rule of not always talking about money? Well I guess I don’t care. Because I’m just over here on the other end of this screen so proud of myself for dressing you guys on a budget.

Disclaimer: I do still believe in spending extra money on certain pieces that you absolutely love and/or will wear all the time. Also, if you ever see me wearing something ridiculously expensive, I, one, give you permission to call me out. And two, I won’t apologize because if after all my years of blogging, I get some great gigs and digs, I will tell you all the ways I earned it. 😛

OK so enough of that. How cute is this dress?! I love a simple dress like this that you can pair with boots or sandals and is versatile through a few seasons! And the reason for the above rant is that this little cutie is only $20! It would be a perfect V Day dress too. I also recently added some metallics to my closet this season, and they are a fun way to add some bling to your looks!

How do you all feel about Valentine’s day? I feel like a lot of single people poo poo all over it but I have always loved it, single or not! And just so you can’t say anything like well you’re married blah blah, I was single for every Valentine’s Day except one for 24 years! I just love love. And if that means sharing a fun night with my girlfriends (which actually may still be the case this year since Ben is working V Day) or sharing a romantic evening with your man, it’s always fun to celebrate. What are your plans for V Day? Ben and I will probably do something fun the weekend after. If you don’t have a man, plan a fun night with your girls and celebrate that life is great and that you have each other because trust me, girlfriends are so important even when you’re married!

Have the best day!

xoxo,

Christine
