BOHO STYLE IN JOSHUA TREE AND AN INTRODUCTION

boho rocker style by Christine Bennett of moxiefashionblog.com

I figured it was high time I re-introduced myself to you guys again. I mean who knows who’s new around here, and maybe even if you’ve been here for a while, you could be about to learn some revolutionary thing about me. (Don’t worry I’m probably not that cool.) ANYWAYS. Here goes.

Hi! My name is (what?) / My name is (who?) / My name is Slim Shady / Hi! My name is (huh?)

Slim, anyone??? 😛

Ok but really…

My name is Christine Bennett. I love Jesus, and without Him, my life wouldn’t be the same.

I married to Mr. Benjamin John Bennett, and he’s my best friend and love of my life. Marriage is my favorite thing ever. #hearteyes

I am a hairstylist and have been for twelve whole years. #yikes

I have a degree in Spanish, and yes I’m fluent. I love being places and surprising people when da white girl busts our her Spanish.

I was homeschooled my ENTIRE life. And so was Ben! Cosmetology school was my first experience with public school, and I may have been slightly appalled at some of the crazy things I would hear there.

In another life, I would have liked to be a country singer.

And if that didn’t give it away, country music is my favorite EVER. Pretty sure I could sing any song you put on.

Running is my therapy. I started running at the age of 12 and have been running ever since.

I could watch Friends reruns every night and never get tired of it.

I am chronically three minutes late almost everywhere I go. Super lame, I know.

Also if it weren’t for dry shampoo and the fact that messy hair is in style, I would probably be thirty minutes late.

Moxie means force of character, determination or nerve. And that’s what brought me to this little corner of the internet and how I want to live my life.

PSA: I have worn this shirt three times in the last week, and my coworker called me out on it, even though only one time was to work. Dang Instastories. (P.S. If you’re wondering about sizing, this is a small, and it’s super oversized!)

I snapped these photos on my way into Joshua Tree last weekend, and I wish I would have brought a million things to shoot because there was so many cool places to shoot. If you ever have the chance to go there, you should. I want to go back next spring and camp!

Have the bestest weekend.

xoxo,

Christine
