SUMMER TUNIC, BLACK COFFEE AND OTHER THOUGHTS

OH HI. So I don’t know if you guys all saw my Instagram last night, but I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what this blog is and what I want it to be. If you follow bloggers and you scroll through Instagram, almost guaranteed you’ll see the same outfits and accessories 27 times. Because the reality is if we all tryna be cute and have style, we all are going to have some of the same clothes, maybe each with our own little twists. But at the end of the day, how many times do I need to tell you how to style this piece or how to wear a tunic top (See photos above 😛 )? I want this blog to be something more. I want you to feel like it’s a lot like coming into my home. That you laugh a little and feel welcome and loved, and when you leave you learn something about me or about yourself, and you feel like we could be friends. Sure I’m obviously still going to post about fashion but if that’s all this ever is, it all seems a little meaningless. I would love to know what kind of stuff you guys want to see on my blog. Leave me a comment. Send me an email. (moxiebennett@gmail.com) I want to hear from you!

On another less serious note. Like way less serious. Let’s talk about my coffee diaries. You guys. I think I have to start drinking it black. My stomach has been so bothered by coffee creamers and half and half. I even had a lactose free creamer from Trader Joe’s, and you could still call me Gurgles McGee. I’m kinda sad about it. I mean waking up to black coffee is WAY less exciting than waking up to delicious creamy hazelnut creamer in my coffee. And don’t even get me started on how I am going to feel when holiday creamers come around… I know I could do almond milk or other alternatives but to me, they’re kind of gross, so I think I’d just rather my coffee black. The only good thing is that I actually like coffee (not one of those mostly sugar and cream and no coffee people), so I’m pretty sure I will grow to like it more. But I’ll probably be lamenting the loss of Bessie the Cow’s offerings in my coffee for the rest of my life. 😛 On a brighter note, my body felt so good yesterday, so I guess it’s worth it.

P.S. If you want a shirt you will wear ALL the time, this it it. It comes in a pink print too!

Anywayssss. I’m off to work!

Happy Wednesday!

xoxo,

Christine

    Hi!
I love your blog, and I was reading your coffee diaries and thought I would suggest what I use. I have Lyme disease so my stomach doesn’t agree with creamer, but I recently started using the dry powder version coffee creamer and it has been a lot better for me! Because there is no way I could drink coffee black, I like my creamer with a little bit of coffee lol

Oh my gosh girl! So sorry you have that. I’m gonna pray for you! But thanks for the tip! I will maybe try that! So far I have been able to do black coffee though 🙌🏻
