TRANSLATIONS AND PIANOS

These photos are from our actual anniversary! We were supposed to go out of town but Ben was gone on some fires so we had to cancel it. So to make up for it, we packed up a little picnic and went up to this spot by our house where you can look out over the whole city. It’s the spot where we had our first kiss and where Ben proposed! And honestly, besides those two times, I think I’ve only been up there maybe a few other times when I was out on a run. We forgot how beautiful and peaceful it was and were thinking we should probably make going up there more of a regular thing. We just sat up there and watched the sunset and chatted about our life together. It was perfect. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, some of these silly shots are me in real life. Just dancing and throwing up peace signs like it’s my job. 😛

Ok, so if you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen me post about this shirt. It would make sense that the last line would say I love you but I still think that that letter looks like an “F” not a “T”, and in that case I have made up my own translation of what this tee says, “My darling. Yes, yes. I’m hungry.” Sadly two people who probably know French better than I do said it says, “My darling. Yes, yes. I love you.” So maybe it’s just a typo. But I like my translation better so I might just go with it.

P.S. Tees like this with boyfriend/mom jeans have been my jam lately! I love all of the tees that came out after the Gucci one. Mostly since they are actually affordable. 😛

Ben and I spent the last two days getting so much done around the house. We got both of our cars serviced (Why every time you go for an oil change does it end up being a thousand dollars. Sadly not exaggerating this time. 😛 ), we cleaned and organized, and I painted our piano white which I have been wanting to do FOREVER. It brightened up our whole living room! I’m in love with how it turned out, and I’ll probably do a post on it! And as silly as it sounds, I actually think I might play it more because it looks so much more inviting than the dark, austere wood it was before. (Fun fact: I love vocal words like AUSTERE. 😛 )

Hope you’re having a great week!

xoxo,

Christine
