PALEO JALEPENO MARGARITA

You guys should be SO proud of me. In complete opposite fashion to the post I put up yesterday about not following directions, I MADE A RECIPE. And let me tell you, it wasn’t easy. I have been making this marg (minus the jalepeno), and never have I ever measured. 😛 I just recently discovered I like jalepeno margs so I decided to take my regular margarita recipe and spice it up. LITERALLY.

Hope you enjoy!

PALEO JALAPENO MARGARITA

(NOTE: 1.5oz is a shot glass so you can read the below as one shot of lime juice, one shot of tequila, one and a half shots of agave water.)

1.5 oz lime juice (This tool is a game changer for squeezing lime/lemon juice)

1.5 oz tequila

2.25 oz agave water

To make agave water, mix 1 cup warm water with 3 TBSP agave

Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice and a few sliced jalepenos. I did about two jalepenos for one serving. How many you use will just depend on how spicy the jalepenos you are using are and your spice tolerance.

Squeeze a little lime on the rim of the glass, and coat it with Tajin!

Serve over ice!

I love using cubes like this for certain drinks like margaritas that can get watered down easily!

This marg is also my FAVORITE without the jalepenos too!

Happy weekend! Hope it’s the best! Tag me if you make this recipe, and let me know what you think!

xoxo,

Christine
