About

My name is Christine Bennett, and I am 30 years old.

green3

I got married to my dream boat of a hubby on October 19, 2013. (To see more wedding photos and read our story go here).

Ben is the most caring, compassionate man I have ever met, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be married to him.

I am a hairstylist, and LOVE my job.

I have a degree in Spanish.

Coffee is my favorite.

I LOVE running and can barely go a day without it.

I love peanut butter and the smell of freshly cut grass.

I was home-schooled my entire life. I promise I’m not awkward because of it.

I have two younger sisters and an older brother, a wonderful sister-in-law and the three cutest nieces that you ever did meet.

My husband is the oldest of nine children so I have eight more sisters and brothers-in-law. Crazy, right?

I have been doing hair now for eleven years! It’s insane to me to say I’ve been doing a job I love for that long already. My other jobs have included secretary, piano teacher, nanny and Spanish tutor.

I get out of bed for coffee. Oh wait, did I already mention something about coffee? Yah, well it deserves a second mention.

My hubby is four years younger than I am.

I’m a proud Marine wife (my hubs is a firefighter in the Marine Reserves), and nothing beats getting dressed up for the Marine Corps Ball.

I paint my nails 2-3 times a week. One, they get chipped. Two, I get bored.

There’s a very close tie between Fourth of July and Christmas as my fave holidays.

I do CrossFit and love it.

I have run four marathons, including the Boston Marathon.

I love serving people. I love going to Mexico to orphanages and just being with the kids. That’s what inspired me to learn Spanish.

That’s all for now folks! 😛

Hi Christine, I wanted to email., but I couldn’t find your email address on here…
Any who, I have been following you since mid-last year (love your blog) and for awhile I wanted to contact you and ask if you would like to do a post on a local non-profit (Anaheim). I work for The Eli Home, a shelter for abuse children. We have a thrift store that funds 1/3 of our program. I am always finding amazing Items (our offices are located in the same building, so I am always shopping). I just read your latest post and knew I had to contact you now! I would love to meet you and talk you more about the Eli Home and the work that we do here in Anaheim. We are located right down the street from your parents house (April told me, don’t want you to think I’m some weirdo lol) off the 91 and East. If you are interested please let me know, 🙂

Please feel free to visit our website to learn more, http://www.elihome.org
